thoughts for the week

Serious Note. What did Yeshua say was the greatest command. What does Rev 3:14 to end of Chapter say about the above... How about Psalm 139? What about Jeremiah 17:10.. God's wants all our heart... What does it look like in practice?

Study is important... how do we study God's Word? Psalm 1 says to mediate or repeat to yourself.. that is a great way to make it stick with you.. but how about pulling scripture together, to see a bigger picture. Several different scriptures Isaiah and Revelation? We did that today. See yourself about studying. Look up sections related to these topics, and see what you find. Feel free to post or ask for questions... Topic 1... Do Children go to Heaven if they die young ( or end up on the new earth with Yeshua) Topic 2... End of Days (beginning of the best time) Topic 3... What are the ramifications of God having already experienced your whole life before you were formed in the womb. you have 1 month.. get started now...

Daily Devotions?

Recently started back to school? Or are you starting soon? Do you find the schedule of school time helpful to maintaining a daily devotion time with the Lord or do you find the increased time requirements a detriment to your daily devotions? What can we as a body do to help support you and other like you in finding / making time for devotions?

First Fruits....שבועות

First Fruits....שבועות As we enter into a time of one of the three pilgrimage feasts, what can we draw from it.. Shavuot was one of the three required feasts, yet it often takes a back seat... Why is that? Exodus 34:21-23 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 21 “You shall work six days, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during plowing time and harvest you shall rest. 22 You shall celebrate the Feast of Weeks, that is, the first fruits of the wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the turn of the year. 23 Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord [a]God, the God of Israel.” What else Has Happended on Shavuot? Well, read Acts 1 and 2. What is our response to such an outpouring...Well rav Shaul said...Romans 8:23 “And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.” So we yearn for that we can’t yet have, but do we live for striving to fulfill that.. How about you?

We are moving the youth service from Saturday the 2nd to 10:30 am at Broad Ripple Park for Memorial day picnic. See you there.

Forgiveness

So if we love our enemies, are we able to fogive them? love keeps no record of wrongs....so do we love them as we should? Do we hold secret prejudices, or biases against people based on previous wrongs? Are there other factors? What does the Bible Say?
